Our week in pictures

This week the weather has been fabulous here so we've taken advantage.

Starfish spotting. We found the mother of all starfish. Look at all of those legs!!!

Feeding the goats at our local market. Usually they live up on the roof of the market. They're just waiting for the grass to be perfect before they move up to their summer home.

Seeing the Olympic flame!!

Exploring Spider Lake. Hey there's no spiders here!

Bliss...

  1. LOVELY PHOTOS!
Are you all adjusted to Canadian life now?
Thanks for sharing about your wonderful week! Looks like fun...I am so jealous of the beautiful water and weather. We are still under a blanket of snow!

  2. I came to visit from the Magic Onion. I love your February nature table - particularly your needle felted seaguls. Our nature table lacks that magical whimsical something at the moment. So you've given me a little food for thought there.

  3. Looks lovely and cool you were able to go see the torch. I would have imagined it would have been very hectic in front of it.

  4. What a great week! I love the starfish photo. I just found your blog from the Magic Onion. I have 25 month old twins that I try to do Montessori based activities with. Our 5 year old has been in a Montessori school and it has been a wonderful experience. I really like your blog, you have great ideas. Thanks!

  6. Hi - another traveller from Magic onions. Great pictures of your walks - especially the Olympic flame. Mind you, not the sort of weather I would expect in Canada right now - my sister lives in Ottawa and always seems to have snow when i talk to her.

  8. You are so lucky to live where you do, and it's wonderful that you're exposing your daughter to the beauty of nature so she'll develop an appreciation for it from an early age!
