Out of Comission

For this past week I have been in agonising pain. I've had problems with my lower back, left hip and all down my left leg. Today the chiropractor said he thinks I'm loosing a disc. Not really sure what that means but he also mentioned a bulging disc. I was able to look that up on the Internet and find out a little more about it. It's going to be a long process and at the moment I can't really do much. Thank goodness my husband isn't working right now and we're living with my mom.
Needless to say there hasn't been much going on around here Montessori wise. I am sad to say that my daughter officially watches TV now(a lot of it). This is how my husband "looks after her". I'm really sad and frustrated about the whole thing but at the moment there's not much I can do and just have to let it go.
I've been in so much pain that I haven't even done any more needle felting!!(you know it's gotta be bad)
A few people have asked if I would do a needle felting tutorial(which I find quite funny actually because I'm really just winging it)but that is something I can post about so my next post will be how I started needle felting and some recommendations on how to start.
Okay that's about it really. Just wanted to keep you all in the loop : )

Oh I'm so sorry to hear you're in so much pain! I hope you're able to find a comfortable solution very soon! In the meantime, don't worry about your daughter watching TV... as long as it's nothing violent, she'll be just fine! And since she is watching a lot of TV, maybe you could rent or buy some educational DVDs for her to watch - at least she'll be learning something then, too!
Sending warm wishes you way...

Yowza! As someone with chronic back and neck issues, I unfortunately know how you feel! I hope you start feeling better soon.

And I agree with Mari-Ann, let go and don't worry about the television!

I'm so sorry! I hope you're feeling better soon. The Letter Factory dvd and Signing Time dvds are great for "no guilt" tv time for us :)

Oh babe, that just suxs big time. You poor darlin. Sending you big Aussie hugs.

No worry about the tv - you need to rest and tv can be a great tool to assist this. Little Bird really gets into nature documentaries so maybe L will do so too? I find DVDs a great help in times like this. It also means you can have more say in what she sees.

Rest up my friend and take care. Look forward to your return, but take your time. I have been googling the felt thing to find a good tutorial, but no luck yet. Looking forward to your post - when ever it may be.

Ill be thinking of you.
