March nature table (kind of...)

This month our nature table is more of an indulgence for me than a specific nature table :p After seeing several needle felted toadstool houses on the Internet I was desperate to make one. I finally got the wool and did some research on Google Images using my favorite bits from a number of other people's creations. Some of my favorites were from Fairy Folk and there is a tutorial on how to make one here.

L and I collected all of the other bits for the toadstool family's home during our daily excursions.

Totally gorgeous! You inspired me to start needle felting. Made a few things now, including a sheep which my husband thinks looks like a fat dog. Oh well! (:

Hi there, I found your website from The Magic Onions' Friday Nature Table. What a wonderful toadstool house! I watched that tutorial as well in anticipation of receiving my first felting set in the mail but I loved how you added that charming window! Very inspiring :).

Your toadstool fairy house is beautiful. Needle felting is on my list to learn. I love the little path leading up to the house.

That looks so wonderful! I am rather remiss having never made a nature table, and I can't felt to save myself, you do it so beuatifully and I feel very inspired!

It's gorgeous! Just the type of thing I would spend hours looking at when I was little (I had a toadstool night light, and your creation brought back so many memories...)
